KENT, WASHINGTON – WCP Solutions announces several executive leadership promotions and organizational changes as part of the company’s continued growth and long-term leadership planning.
As part of WCP’s long-term leadership planning, Jon Thompson will be transitioning to a new role as Vice President of Manufacturing & Print Sales. In this role, Thompson will focus on the company’s manufacturing strategy and continued alignment between manufacturing, print, and sales efforts across the organization while remaining an active member of WCP’s executive leadership team. The transition represents the first step in a planned multi-year leadership transition as Thompson prepares for retirement over the coming years.
Jeff Zimmerman will assume the role of Vice President of Sales & Marketing. Zimmerman joined WCP in 2011 as an Account Manager before becoming Sales Manager and Portland Division Manager. His experience across multiple levels of the business brings a strong understanding of WCP’s sales culture, customer relationships, and day-to-day operations.
Tamara Ferguson has been promoted to Vice President of Vendor Management. Ferguson joined WCP in 2008 as Director of Facility Supplies before expanding her leadership responsibilities to include the company’s Foodservice segment in 2019. With more than 20 years of industry experience, she has played a key role in supplier development, product strategy, and partner relationships across several areas of the business.
Jeff Larson has been promoted to Vice President of Operations & IT. Larson joined WCP in 2020 and became Director of Business Process & Technology in 2022, helping lead operational and technology initiatives across the company. In his expanded role, he will oversee operations, purchasing, facilities, freight, and technology across the organization.
“These changes reflect the strength of our leadership team and our continued focus on the future of WCP,” said Amy Swanson, Chief Executive Officer. “Each of these leaders has played an important role in the company, and we’re excited about the experience and direction they bring to these positions.”
