WCP Cares 2025: Celebrating $20,000 Raised for Our Community Partners
WCP Portland was our top fundraising location, raising $4,734 for their Charity Partner, Candlelighters for Children with Cancer
In May 2025, we launched WCP Cares, a local charity program, with a simple goal: create a way to support the communities where we live and work. Starting the new year strong, we are proud to share that through this program, we raised approximately $20,000 for our twelve local community partners. These partners represent food banks, youth programs, community shelters, animal rescues, and more.
Each of our WCP locations had the opportunity to nominate a local community organization to support through WCP Cares. In some cases, multiple locations partnered together to support a single organization serving a broader region. This approach allows each location to invest directly in the communities they know best while also creating regional impact where it matters most.
Our community partners include Rotary Club of Kent, Bean’s Café, Candlelighters for Children with Cancer, Helping Hands Food Bank, Family Kitchen, Food for Lane County, Generation Alive, Lake Lowell Animal Rescue, Raising Shasta, Sacramento Autistic Spectrum and Special Needs Alliance, Sparrows Clubs USA, and 1614 Revival Foundation, Inc.
WCP Cares will continue into 2026, and we plan to support these same charity partners again in the coming year. Because the program launched midway through 2025, many of these organizations did not receive a full year of support. Continuing with our current partners allows us to extend that impact, build longer-term relationships, and continue investing in the communities that matter most to our teams.

With every sale of Northwest Choice copy paper, we donate $1 to a local charity selected by the WCP division serving that area. Each of our divisions has chosen an organization that reflects the values and needs of its community and turns everyday purchases into meaningful contributions.
