Important Message to WCP Customers About COVID-19

Dear WCP Solutions Customer,

The growing reports regarding the spread of the Coronavirus (COVID-19) are creating an escalation of the impact of the pandemic on business operations globally.  With that said, I want to assure you that WCP is taking every precaution to protect our employees, their families, and the community, all while continuing to service the needs of our customers and business partners.

This week we have implemented internal protocols to increase the sanitization of our facilities on a daily basis.  All of our employees are practicing the CDC recommendations for personal and workplace protection with emphasis on hand hygiene and the use of tools to prevent the spread of the virus.  We have eliminated all employee air travel for the foreseeable future.  We are limiting supplier and customer visitations to our facilities.  And, we will be increasing the utilization of technology for our supplier and customer meetings.  We have also mandated that all of our drivers wear gloves and make dock-only deliveries to healthcare facilities and customer facilities with reported COVID-19 exposure.  Lastly, we will require any employee showing signs or symptoms that could be associated with the virus to leave immediately, see their doctor, and not return without clearance from a doctor.

We are working diligently with our suppliers to maintain supply chain continuity but we have recently experienced inordinate demand on hand sanitizer, disinfectants, personal protection equipment, wipes, foodservice to-go containers, and cutlery.  We are doing our best to initiate protocols to minimize hoarding and rationally allocate these products.  Many of our suppliers on these products have increased production to 24/7 but they are beginning to see backorders on the raw materials.  Our teams at WCP will be making every effort to offer alternative products if the traditional products you have been accustomed to getting are not available.

We are carefully monitoring the COVID-19 outbreak, we are complying with imposed governmental mandates, and our teams are engaged in consistent internal communication as new information becomes available.  We will continue to monitor developments of the pandemic and implement the necessary measures recommended by the CDC, local, state and the federal government to ensure our operations are safe so we can continue to provide the high level of service you have come to expect from WCP Solutions.  The wellness of our employees, our customers, and our suppliers is of unwavering importance and we wish you peace and good health as we transition through this together.
